Paris Hilton seemed to get a bit of a shock over the weekend.
The influencer – who recently claimed that she and Britney Spears ‘created the selfie’ – was scheduled to host an F1 after party at the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas on Friday.
‘We have a very special guest,’ a DJ announced as she walked into the room, which looked rather empty on a video shared by Real Las Vegas Locals.

As she lifted her sunglasses the former reality TV star tried to hide her shock after her first impression of the gathering.
‘The priceless moment when Paris Hilton realizes there’s no one there at the F1 after party,’ the account holder wrote next to the post.
The DJ, 42, was dressed in a custom sequined Formula One racing outfit in purple, pink and white with ‘Hilton for the Stay’ written on the front.
She wore silver boots and dark sunglasses and styled her long, blonde hair in a high pony tail.
The video resulted in some detractors making snarky remarks on social media.
‘The panic set in the moment she lifted those sunglasses,’ wrote one critic.
Another commented, ‘HaHaha what a dork.’
Some fans defended the turnout sharing, ‘We see people there… Where the rest of the video?’ and ‘There are other videos showing it packed out.’
Snaps shared on Paris’ Instagram page show the Confessions of an Heiress author spun her magic, making the best of the situation.
Once she got the party started, attendees were up dancing and jumping to the beats in what appeared to be a standing room only space.
Most of them had their phones out to capture the event.
