Go for a Hike
Port Moody is home to some of the best hiking trails near Vancouver. Hike to incredible ocean views on the Diez Vistas Trail. Follow trails beside the ocean to Admiralty Point. Make a circuit around Buntzen Lake, stopping to enjoy the views or go for a swim. Follow a forested trail to a hidden beach on the Jug Island Beach Trail. Or take a relaxed stroll around tranquil Sasamt Lake and nearby Woodhaven Swamp.

Explore Rocky Point Park
Located in the heart of Port Moody, Rocky Point Park is a day-trip-worthy destination. Go fishing from the pier. Watch for birds and other wildlife along the shoreline. Splash in the spray park or outdoor pool. Or follow nature trails beside the ocean.
Go Kayaking or Paddleboarding
The calm waters at the head of Burrard Inlet make Port Moody a great place to go kayaking. You can rent a kayak or SUP at Rocky Point Park or Belcarra Park.
Go Mountain Biking
The Tri-Cities Offroad Cycling Association, a local community group, maintains dozens of mountain biking trails in Port Moody. The beginner-friendly Bert Flinn Park Zone has a great network of green and blue trails. More experienced riders should head to the Eagle Mountain Zone for more gnarly terrain. Visit Buntzen Lake Recreation Area
