“A new journey” is how Camille Miceli, Pucci’s Artistic Director, defines the fresh direction of the Florentine House. With graphic prints and popping colors, the new wardrobe embodies a lifestyle that celebrates vivacity with inimitable Italian sophistication and style.
The first destination on the new journey is “La Grotta Azzura” on the island of Capri, a vacation haven dear to the Maison and its founder. Each piece in the collection evokes this Italian destination synonymous with festivities, bright colors, joie de vivre and Italian Dolce Vita.
From our partners:
The wardrobe revisits iconic Pucci creations reworked in patchwork or all-encompassing enlarged or downsized patterns. Geometrico, Girandole, Marmo, Iride, Fagiano, Rombi, Dalia and Pesci express a design process that respects the imperfection of handcrafted, restoring the poetry of the original designs. The materials – cotton voile, silk chiffon, drill, stretch jersey or toweling – elevate caftans and kimonos, revealing simplicity in sophistication.
Accessories are equally joyful with woven straw or dual-material canvas tote bags made from upcycled vintage scarves, plus towering colorful wedge sandals accessories and oversized hoop earrings. Games add to the fun too, with backgammon, beach cushions and playing cards.
The joyful approach is underlined by a signature detail in a nod to the House’s origins, a new logo inspired by the 1953 “Capri Sport” logo from the archives. The intertwined dual fish, shaped as an emblematic Pucci “P”, is woven into a belt buckle, a pair of wedges or wooden-soled sandals, or incorporated on hoodies, jumpers and transformed into a single earring.
The new pieces imagined by Camille Miceli fuse an ultra-contemporary way of dressing that celebrates both the intensity of the moment and Pucci’s rich heritage.
