Following last year’s online edition, the Watches & Wonders showcase is back in Geneva with a physical show this year from March 30 through April 4, presenting both revolutionary creations in the watch industry alongside exceptional timepieces. TAG Heuer will of course be on hand, introducing no fewer than six new watches during the event, a must rendezvous for the watch industry. Here’s a recap of the new releases.

TAG Heuer Carrera Plasma features innovative lab-grown diamonds in an avant-garde design, a major milestone in the company’s 160-year-old history – and indeed for the entire watch industry. The watch is a veritable tour de force of materials. The disruptive technique employed by TAG Heuer is based on Chemical Vapor Deposition technology (CVD), introducing a new way to master design and the play of light with material thanks to the versatility of lab-grown diamonds in unique shapes and textures. At the same time the watch is a masterpiece of contrasts, from the sandblasted anodized aluminum case and a black ceramic polished bezel, to a black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating. The spectacular design of the TAG Heuer Carrera Plasma is joined by an equally wondrous movement inside. Equipped with the TAG Heuer Nanograph Tourbillon H02, the calibre carries the groundbreaking inhouse carbon hairspring developed by the TAG Heuer Institute.

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph is the brand’s first ever solar-powered watch.  The watchmaker is now using the sun, a limitless and natural energy source, to create a timepiece whose movement integrates the innovative Solargraph solar module. This pioneering Acquaracer is bold, active and at one with nature. The sun not only powers the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph, but also illuminates the watch’s Super-LumiNova® elements. The bezel, dial and hands are all coated with Super-LumiNova®, giving the watch outstanding legibility, even at night.

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Orange Diver joins the iconic Aquaracer Professional 300 collection, first introduced in 2021. The  watch shares the same codes as its predecessors: a luxury tool watch that brings out the adventurous side of every watch enthusiast. Representing safety and security at sea, the vibrant orange dial stands out thanks to its sharp contrast with the ocean blue. The model is water-resistant to a depth of 300 meters.

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver is designed for extreme depths and one of the few watches to meet the most demanding diving standards, including ISO 6425:2018 certification. TAG Heuer continues its legacy, celebrating 40 years in the deep dive watch market. With its exceptional performance, this new timepiece marks a debut for the manufacture as the first watch to use the calibre TH30-00, crafted exclusively for TAG Heuer by Kenissi Manufacture SA, one of the world’s most renowned movement makers. Perfectly adapted to extreme depths, the new watch is also fitted with a helium valve to enable the gas to escape and avoid damage on decompression.

TAG Heuer and Porsche share a rich history, an independent and powerful mindset, and a dedication to design and performance excellence. The new creation is based on the emblematic TAG Heuer Carrera Sport Chronograph, which boasts exceptional performance thanks to its inhouse calibre Heuer 02. The timepiece is further enhanced by Porsche’s aesthetic appeal, incorporating the famous Porsche Racing Yellow, reserved to the automaker’s sportiest vehicles.
