On Saturday, September 25, Netflix hosted its first-ever global fan event, TUDUM, featuring news, first looks and trailers from over 100 upcoming Netflix films and series. The three-hour show generated a level of fandom we haven’t seen before.   

  • TUDUM and our pre-shows in Japan, Korea and India garnered over 25.7 million views across Netflix’s 29 Netflix YouTube channels, Twitter, Twitch, Facebook, TikTok and TUDUM.com.*
  • Fifteen minutes after the show ended, the exclusive clips and trailers shared with fans had already generated 300 million views on social media.
  • As of yesterday, the total number of views for TUDUM, pre-shows, clips,  trailers and other content generated by fans watching the event stands at almost 695 million views — with over 3.3B impressions across 184 countries.

Netflix exists to delight our members so it was heartwarming to see people’s excitement and connection to these shows and films across social media.

  • Our talent and titles lit up Twitter, with #TUDUM rising to #2 worldwide and trending for several hours in 23 countries: US, India, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Mexico, UK, Panama, Guatemala, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Canada, Chile, Peru, Portugal, Argentina, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, France, Malaysia, and Germany.
