Kelly Stafford Says Flight to London With 4 Kids Will ‘F***ing Suck’

Kelly Stafford is supportive of her husband, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, but that doesn’t mean she’s eager to fly her four daughters across the world by herself to watch him play football.

Kelly, 35, will fly to London next season when the Rams face the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium on October 15, and she knows bringing the kids “will f***ing suck.”

“I love a little challenge,” she said on the Thursday, May 15 episode of her “The Morning After” podcast. She added that the return trip will also include a layover in Atlanta.

Kelly and Matthew, 37, married in 2015 and share twin daughters Sawyer and Chandler, 8, and younger daughters Hunter, 6, and Tyler, 4.

Kelly may have her hands full when she travels solo with four kids, but it’s a challenge she has conquered before — though not across the Atlantic Ocean.

In January, she brought the kids to Arizona for an NFL playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings. Even worse, they flew with the team and it was three days after she and two of the kids came down with a “serious illness” that landed them in the hospital.

“We were sick on that flight,” Kelly admitted on the January 15 episode of her podcast. “There was a huge guilt factor to me going, ‘Should we be on this plane right now because of everyone surrounding us and everyone who has to play this game?’”

One of her daughters’ illnesses even carried over to gameday.

“This girl ❤. In the middle of her pukes in the bathroom, ‘Mommy, are we still winning,’” she wrote via Instagram alongside a picture of her daughter hugging Matthew after the game. “She couldn’t wait to be in his arms.”

Why Kelly Stafford and Her 4 Girls Might Be ‘Moving’ Out Before Playoffs

The Rams ultimately won, 27-9, and Kelly shared a video of her and the kids on the plane ride back.

“Almost home,” she wrote, “such damn troopers.”

Matthew, for his part, has fully embraced life as a girl dad. He joked about it with former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce on a March episode of Jason’s “New Heights” podcast, which he hosts with brother, Travis Kelce.

At the time, Jason, 37, and his wife, Kylie, were expecting their fourth daughter. Kylie, 33, gave birth to daughter Finnley on March 30. When Jason asked Matthew for advice on raising four girls, Matthew jokingly said, “Buckle up.”

“It’s a blast, man,” he added. “We’re like, rocking and rolling, wearing leotards all the time, doing gymnastics around the house, it’s crazy. At this point I don’t even know what I’d do with a boy. I can’t wrap my head around it.”
