Sean Suson, husband of late influencer Dominique McShain, is paying tribute to his late wife.
“Our love can never be replicated nor erased, you will forever be a part of me, though I may never see you in the physical world, I know our spirits will meet again,” Suson wrote via Instagram on Saturday, April 26, alongside a carousel of photos featuring Dominique and the couple throughout their relationship.
“Life’s too short to love you the way I wanted to, but I promise I’ll find you in the next one,” his heartfelt caption continued. “Maybe then we’ll have the time we didn’t get in this life—to grow together, and to build everything we talked about. Until then, I’ll carry you with me in everything I do.”

5 Things to Know About Influencer Dominique McShain After Death at 21
McShain and Suson were childhood sweethearts, tying the knot just five months before her death on December 7, 2024.
People confirmed on Wednesday, April 23, that McShain had died at the age of 21 following a battle with colon cancer. In May 2024, she shared in a TikTok her diagnosis of an incurable colorectal cancer that had metastasized to her liver. She said at the time her doctors had given her one to five more years to live.
Earlier this month, McShain delivered the sad news to her followers on social media that she was losing her battle with cancer and would no longer be receiving treatment, including chemotherapy.
“I want to be direct with you all: this will be my final update on my cancer journey until I have passed away,” McShain wrote via Instagram on April 6. “I’ve recently been given a prognosis about 5 days ago of only a few days to a few weeks to live. My liver is failing rapidly to the point of jaundice and the cancer is progressing quickly.”

She added at the time that she had “transitioned into end-of-life care, focusing on pain relief and managing side effects.”
“My life may be short but I genuinely think I’ve squeezed every bit out of it,” McShain wrote. “I won the lottery with a family that loves me unconditionally, friends who would 10000 percent donate a liver to me or do anything they could (and probably argue over who gets to do it) and the sweetest husband, Sean, who’s been my rock through everything — before and after my diagnosis.”
She concluded, “Though it will hurt to leave you all behind, please know that I will finally be out of pain and I will be at peace.”
