Selling Sunset’s Bre Tiesi has had enough of the drama surrounding her newest piece of bling.
“Bre addressed the accusations across social media,” a source exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Wednesday, April 16. “Bre is at the top of her game right now, and a lot of the cast are nervous about what [has] and what has not been included in the next series edit due to the many failed attempts to attack her character with zero reaction from Bre.”
The insider stated that Tiesi, 31, has made it clear that she made a mistake of not properly researching a piece of jewelry’s brand and association.
From our partners:
“She accepted the bracelet gift from a friend who is also part of the LGBTQIA+ community and was completely taken back by the associations and the branding of a well-known ancient symbol,” the source continued. “She has absolutely no intention of reacting further to the unfounded claims and production are behind her fully.”
Where Does the ‘Selling Sunset’ Cast Stand in Season 9? Breaking Down Feuds
Chrishell Stause, however, doesn’t appear to be buying Tiesi’s explanation for her latest controversial social media post.
“I just saw her excuse,” Stause, 43, wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, April 15. “OK she ‘tagged the wrong brand’ even though it’s all the same company and MAGA was HIGHLY featured right next to her wrist.”
The Oppenheim Group agent — who is married to G-Flip, a nonbinary Australian musician — went on to include a definition of the word transvestite, which she described as an “outdated and often considered offensive term for someone who dresses in clothing traditionally associated with the opposite gender, also known as a cross-dress.”

“Not my job to teach her that this term is EXTREMELY outdated, but here’s a free education,” Stause continued. “And if my partner WAS trans, they are not, I would happily love them exactly the same. GTFOH. Someone take my phone.”
Earlier in the week, Tiesi, 33, posted a photo of new jewelry she received from a brand seemingly titled MAGA bracelets.
“Thank you @MagaBracelets,” she wrote via her Instagram Story. “Need extra protection these days.”
Selling Sunset’s Nicole Young Teases ‘Awful’ Chrishell Scene in New Season
Stause decided to reshare the social media post while adding a statement of her own.
“Some people are GREAT for TV, but when it comes to talking about real issues (using slurs, etc) they tend to be cut,” she claimed. “So use this as guidance when you watch season 9.”
After posting her new jewelry, Tiesi apologized “for the oversight” and said she is “far from MAGA,” referring to the “Make America Great Again” political movement made popular by current President, then presidential candidate, Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential election.

“I have a full social media team that supports me day-to-day and the bracelet was gifted by @Lavaraverse and not the brand that was tagged,” she claimed. “We all make mistakes and when tagging the brand, this was not properly researched into making sure the correct brand was being tagged. Nobody should be taking my story and assuming I mean something else without context for their own benefit.”
Growing up, Tiesi said she always wore the eye of Horus, which was “meant to represent protection and healing.”
Breaking Down Timeline of Chrishell, Nicole’s Ongoing ‘Selling Sunset’ Feud
“I apologize that this story has been shared without the full story from myself and this error will never happen again,” she continued. “Hopefully this has cleared up any misunderstanding. I appreciate you all.”
Tiesi then shared a DM that her jewelry connection Jennifer Stano sent to Stause in her defense.
“Hey. I normally don’t get involved in stuff like this, but I feel like I need to go to bat for Bre because this is a huge misunderstanding,” Stano wrote in the message reposted by Tiesi, explaining that in March she posted a photo wearing evil eye bracelets that sparked Tiesi’s interest.
“It was just the wrong company tagged,” Stano wrote, “and now she’s getting backlash for something that wasn’t her fault. Just wanted to clear that up.”
Bre Tiesi Compares Processing ‘Selling Sunset’ Season 8 Drama to ‘PTSD’
Ever since Tiesi joined the cast of Selling Sunset in season 6, she has struggled to build a solid friendship — or at times even cordial working relationship — with Stause. Their dynamic was further complicated when Stause seemingly chose Chelsea Lazkani’s side in a feud with Tiesi during season 8.
“Unfortunately, I will just say that I don’t have a friendship with [Bre] right now,” Stause said in a September 2024 Q&A via Snapchat. “[I’m] just kind of really disappointed at that whole situation.”
A premiere date for Selling Sunset season 9 has yet to be announced.
