Has anyone else struggled to remember which Selling Sunset costars are on good terms — and which are currently at odds? If the answer is yes, then good news, because Us is breaking down where each star stands with each other as season 9 sparks more feud speculation.
Selling Sunset, which debuted in 2019, follows employees at high-end Los Angeles real estate brokerage the Oppenheim Group. The Netflix series boasts expensive homes, but it’s the drama between the cast that keeps viewers coming back for more.
Nine seasons in, the cast divides are bigger than ever. When season 8 came to an end in 2024, Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young were still at odds, but Emma Hernan has since been added into the mix. After previously accusing Chrishell of only getting real estate listings because their boss Jason Oppenheim had a crush on her, Nicole then claimed Emma was having an affair with a married man.

Nicole attempted to clarify where she got the information, but the damage was done. Then, as everyone chose sides in that feud, Chelsea Lazkani accused Bre Tiesi of bringing her friend Amanda Lynn to the show as a way to intentionally out Chelsea’s husband Jeff Lazkani’s alleged infidelity, which ultimately led to their split.
Where the ‘Selling Sunset’ Cast Stands on the Biggest Feuds

Chrishell Stause
On Good Terms With: Chrishell has remained close with Emma and Chelsea in addition to her consistent friendship with Mary Bonnet.
At Odds With: Since Nicole joined Selling Sunset, she and Chrishell could never fully work out their issues. That got even worse amid Nicole’s feud with Emma, and Chrishell also chose Chelsea’s side when it came to her issues with Bre. During season 8, Chrishell revealed she wasn’t in the best place with Amanza Smith due to alleged homophobic comments made by her hairstylist.
Emma Hernan
On Good Terms With: Similar to Chrishell, Emma is loyal to their friend group, which includes Chelsea. Emma and Mary haven’t had any drama in recent seasons either.
At Odds With: After trying to remain neutral when it came to Chelsea vs. Bre, Emma chose Chelsea’s side and has remained there. Emma is currently caught up in an individual feud with Nicole after Nicole spread rumors about her personal life on screen.
Chelsea Lazkani
On Good Terms With: As season 8 came to an end, Chelsea’s bond with Chrishell and Emma has never been stronger.
At Odds With: The same can’t be said for Chelsea’s friendship with Bre, which is nonexistent. Chelsea also sided with Emma when it came to the drama between her and Nicole.
What the ‘Selling Sunset’ Cast Has Said About Returning — Or Quitting
Bre Tiesi
On Good Terms With: A falling out with Chrishell, Emma and Chelsea has left Bre with allies such as Nicole and potentially Mary.
At Odds With: After speaking with Us about being on the outs with most of the cast, Bre’s situation seemingly only got worse when filming season 9. Bre has been called out by Chelsea, Chrishell and Emma, and if their offscreen drama is anything to go by, season 9 will show clear division between the cast.
Nicole Young
On Good Terms With: It remains unclear who Nicole’s allies are while they film season 9, but Amanza, Mary, Alanna and/or the Oppenheim brothers might be on the list.
At Odds With: Nearly everyone after a public feud with Chrishell got worse when Nicole started to vocalize her issues with Emma as well.
Amanza Smith
On Good Terms With: As Amanza weathered issues in her own life, she has largely stayed out of the drama with her costars on Selling Sunset.
At Odds With: While Amanza hasn’t spoken out about Bre vs. Chelsea, she did shut Nicole down when she brought up allegations against Emma on the show. Amanza previously worked out her issues with Chrishell, which involved a member of Amanza’s glam squad.
Jason and Brett Oppenheim
On Good Terms With: The Oppenheim twins just want their agents selling properties. While they sometimes weigh in on the drama (partly because many of the women in the office are Jason’s ex-girlfriends), they usually don’t choose sides.
At Odds With: Whoever isn’t bringing in money or selling homes.

Mary Bonnet
On Good Terms With: Mary’s place in the brokerage means she largely isn’t at odds with anyone. She was also more focused on mourning her and Jason’s late dog in season 8 than getting involved in the drama.
At Odds With: After defending Nicole in the past, Mary questioned her friend’s behavior after Emma’s personal life was brought up on the show. Mary also defended Bre’s decision to tell Chelsea what she heard about her husband but has shown support for Bre as well.
Alanna Gold
On Good Terms With: With Alanna still being the new girl at the office, she’s largely friendly with everyone. But with season 9 currently filming, there’s still time for that to turn around.
At Odds With: Outside of her public misunderstanding with Pioneertown, Alanna has largely remained an observer. She did admit onscreen that Nicole raising speculation about Emma’s relationships wasn’t the best move.
