Lindsey Vonn’s Beauty Routine Is Incredibly Simple

After coming out of retirement, Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn placed second at the Alpine Ski World Cup Championships. And while we’re blown away by this major athletic accomplishment, we’re also dying to know about her skincare routine., because 40-year-old has been looking truly flawless. We dug up what products she uses for skincare and beauty were blown away again, this time because of how super clean and quite simple it is.

Unlike many celebs these days, Vonn’s skincare routine is simple. Of course, taking care of her skin as a skier is crucial for her well-being, and the products she uses are (mostly) very affordable, including the same Cetaphil as the rest of us.

Exfoliation: After a workout, Vonn kicks off her skincare routine with a little at-home exfoliation using Kaplan’s Diamond Contour Daily Facial.
“It’s not super intense, so if I’m breaking out more I’ll use it after I work out too,” she explained during an interview with Into the Gloss.
Face Wash: Because Lindsey is often out in the elements as a ski racer, she opts for a moisturizing ceanser. Women’s Health reports she tries to “over-hydrate” her face with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser after exfoliating, because it’s a creamy cleanser.

I feel like that definitely helps…And it also preserves the elasticity, which decreases as you age.”

Facial Toner: Instead of spot treatment as she used to do, Lindsey prefers to use Vinter’s Daughter Active Treatment Essence. Described as a “facial in a bottle,” it works to balance the pH in your face, while healing wrinkles, scars and other imperfections.
Facial Serum: Vonn pairs the above toner with Vinter’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum, which is used to brighten and firm skin. It’s infused with avocado, primrose and rosehip; and it can be used in the morning and evening.
Neck Serum: She said during her Into the Gloss interview that she got her neck “back on track” using Kaplan Diamond Contour Neck Serum. It firms and tightens the skin on your neck using crushed diamond powder, organic extract and a variety of vitamins.
Face Masks: After a flight, Vonn can be found using Wander Beauty Baggage Claim eye masks. They sell out a LOT so we stock up if they’re available.

Eye Shadow: For eye shadow, Vonn uses Tarte Tartlette Juicy Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette.
“It’s got some fun colors,” she said in an interview with Page Six.

You can play around in the winter, play around in the summer, maybe get some party [looks] on … it’s a great mix.

Mascara: Vonn’s go-to mascara is Covergirl LashBlast. In her Vanity Fair ‘What’s On Their Vanity Table story, she says never leaves the house without using it. “Just a few swipes and I feel polished and ready to go, with a bold volume boost,” she said.
Setting Powder: To make sure everything stays in place, Vonn goes for Mac Studio Fix Powder. It comes in 36 shades, and keeps your skin (and makeup) looking good as ever.
Eyeliner: Even when she’s shredding, you can rest assured Vonn is wearing Bobbi Brown Longwear Eyeliner. “I ski with it every day and it never comes off,” she said in an interview with HelloGiggles. That’s probably the one makeup product I would absolutely swear by.
Bronzer: To keep that sun-kissed look year-round, Lindsey uses Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer Powder. In fact, she told The Strategist considers it to be one of her favorite things: “This is the perfect touch of summer for your face — it’s great for contouring, too,” she admitted. “I can wear it all day and not worry about it coming off.
