Hayden Panettiere is fixing up her ‘do!
“My hair was so damaged from all the bleaching and color changes — not to mention all the heat from styling,” Panettiere, 35, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, March 29. “Hours in the hair and makeup chair on set had also taken its toll.”
The actress turned to Connecticut-based stylist Becker Chicaiza — who recently held pop-ups in Los Angeles, New York and Miami — to save her blonde tresses.

“Thank you @BeckerChicaiza for coming to the rescue,” Panettiere gushed in her caption. “I’m in love with how this turned out!”

In a video shared from the styling session, Panettiere noted that her hair was “a disaster” before Chicaiza worked his magic.
“I’ve never had roots, like, this long because I did a film,” she explained. “For the film, I had kept my roots [high on my scalp], but I bleached my hair Barbie-blonde. [It] zapped my hair off.”
Chicaiza ended up restoring Panettiere’s blonde locks and also added subtle lowlights.
“This is the color that I should have been for a long time,” Panettiere quipped when she saw the finished product. “This is gonna make me want to strut down Broadway. Oh, my God, wow! This is insane.”
Chicaiza finished up the appointment by adding extensions, so Panettiere’s hair fell just beyond her shoulders. He styled the look in loosely tousled waves.
“I feel beautiful. I thought I lost my hair forever,” Panettiere concluded. “I feel like a beautiful ‘Becker Babe!’”
In an Instagram comment on Saturday, Chicaiza mused that Panettiere was “such a dream to work with” as a client.

“Thank you for trusting Becker to bring your hair back to life,” he replied. “This transformation was all about restoring strength, shine and movement.”
Panettiere previously revealed that she had also experienced hair loss as a result of her past struggles with postpartum depression. (Panettiere shares daughter Kaya, now 9, with ex-fiancé Wladimir Klitschko.)
“My body was like, ‘enough,’” she recalled to Women’s Health in 2023. “I hit 30. My face was swollen. I had jaundice. My eyes were yellow. I had to go to a liver specialist. I was holding on to weight that wasn’t normally there. My hair was thin and coming out in clumps.”
