Davidson, for his part, has a star-studded dating history of his own, including Cazzie David, Kate Beckinsale, Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Phoebe Dynevor and Chase Sui Wonders. Despite the public paying particular attention to his love life, Davidson, however, says he wants to be known for his craft.
Pete Davidson’s Dating History: Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande and More!
“I just want to be known for doing good work. I want to be out there only when it’s movie, stand-up, charity or business ventures,” Davidson told W magazine in a December 2024 profile. “That’s when I want to be seen. I don’t want to be this f—ing loser who just dates people. That’s not who I am.”

According to Davidson, he is “very happy where [he is at] right now” in terms of his mental health.
“People hate celebrities now,” he further noted. “For some reason, I’m one of the people they chose to go after. It’s actually, in a way, a blessing, because it allowed me to take a step back and evaluate things. ‘What do you want to be? Who are you?’ I’m someone who is from Staten Island, wanted to do stand-up, and if I got to do anything else because of stand-up, it was a miracle.”
Davidson last dated Madelyn Cline beginning in late 2023, with the Outer Banks star, 27, confirming in a September 2024 interview with Nylon that they had gone their separate ways.
“The jokes write themselves,” she teased of dating in the public eye.
Pete Davidson’s Candid Quotes About His Love Life, Hearbreak and More
Davidson — who is not one to give public statements regarding his love life — did previously address his relationship with Grande, 31, on numerous occasions. The pair got engaged in 2018 after several months together and split later that year.
“I don’t ever make public statements about relationships ‘cause I just don’t think it’s right, you know?” Davidson told Paper in 2019. “I usually express how I feel about anything through work. I hope she’s well. I hope she’s very happy — and that’s pretty much it.”
After moving on from his string of failed romances, Davidson has been candid about eventually settling down.
“[I’m] definitely a family guy,” Davidson said during a July 2022 episode of Peacock’s Hart to Heart. “My favorite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve, I wanna have a kid. That’s like my dream. It’s like, super corny, [but] it would be so fun. Dress up the little dude. It’s just like, I’m so excited for that chapter.”
According to Davidson, he told host Kevin Hart at the time that he’d “100 percent” like to get married one day.
