Love Is Blind stars Amber Desiree “AD” Smith and Ollie Sutherland didn’t find love in the pods, but they’re ready to start their next chapter together.
The reality stars were featured on the Netflix show’s season 8 reunion, which aired via the streaming platform on Sunday, March 9. Fans will remember AD from season 6, while Ollie appeared on season 1 of Love Is Blind: UK. The couple — who sparked romance rumors last fall — got engaged after meeting on the upcoming third season of Perfect Match.
Following a promo for the new season, footage was shown of Ollie getting down on one knee at sunset as the couple walked together on a beach. “You’re my best friend, you’re the love of my life. I’ve never felt as happy as I have since I’ve met you,” he gushed. “Nothing would make me happier than spending the rest of my life loving you.”

Love Is Blind’s AD Says Clay Promised Not to ‘Embarrass Me’ at Wedding
“AD AND OLLIE ARE ENGAGED!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS! ,” the official Love Is Blind Instagram page captioned the sweet clip on Sunday.
During the reunion, AD revealed she was “so surprised” by the proposal. Ollie went on to explain that the duo’s individual experiences on Love Is Blind helped them connect.
“Even as early on as when we were on Perfect Match, I noticed that we were having the deeper conversations, the more important conversations, talking about shared values and similar outlooks on life,” he said. “I think that really laid the groundwork and the foundation for the beautiful relationship we have now, and I definitely attribute a lot of that to our experiences on Love Is Blind.”
Viewers saw AD venture into the Netflix pods when season 6 dropped last year. She got engaged to Clay Gravesande, but he turned her down at the altar on their wedding day. In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, AD joked that Clay was “a walking red flag,” especially when he asked for details about her looks during the experiment.

While attending the ESPYs in July 2024, AD hinted that she was looking for love on Raya. “Dating is interesting. It’s kind of far and few in between. I’m kind of picky these days,” she told Us at the time. “I don’t let everybody get my time. You gotta be real special to chat with me.”

Ollie, meanwhile, sparked a romance with Demi Brown on the U.K. version of the reality dating series. The pair got engaged but ultimately didn’t tie the knot.
