Well, semi-new. In the early aughts, stars like Paris Hilton would often parade around their tiny furry friends. From her OG Chihuahua Harajuku Bitch (who lived to 23!) to her current canine roster, Hilton has always been a connoisseur of small dogs. She now runs an Instagram account, @hiltonpets, for all of her fur babies — and like many early 2000s trends, petite pooches are back in fashion.
Yet the nepo pups of 2025 are more spoiled than ever, and their appearances on press tours (think: The Substance and Twisters) only bring more attention to their humans and their projects.
