‘SYTYCD’ Alum Jensen Arnold Gives Update on Newborn Son’s NICU Stay

So You Think You Can Dance season 15 finalist Jensen Arnold’s newborn baby has been making progress in a neonatal unit after his birth.

“Baby boy is still in the NICU but is getting better every day, hoping to bring him home soon🤞🏼❤️‍🩹,” Arnold, 28, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, February 20. “Thank you all for the sweet comments and messages, we feel so loved.”

Jensen, who is one of the younger sisters of Dancing With the Stars alum Lindsay Arnold, gave birth on Sunday, February 16.

“Our hearts just grew a 1000000x He’s here !!!” Jensen wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, February 18. “Baby boy is getting some extra love in the NICU right now, but is doing so good! We are so happy and healthy.”

Jensen and Hill announced in September 2024 that they were expecting baby No. 2.

“Baby Hill coming March 2025!! Brooks is going to be a big brother !!!🥰😭,” they captioned a joint Instagram post at the time. “Couldn’t be more excited and grateful.”

Jensen and Hill have been married since December 2018, welcoming Brooks in July 2022.

“The best 6 years with the love of my life ❤,” Jensen captioned an anniversary tribute in December 2024.

While Jensen and Hill have been together since high school, they got engaged in 2017 ahead of her run on SYTYCD. (Jensen was the runner-up behind eventual champ Hannahlei Cabanilla.)

“I had no idea what to expect. I’m so proud of Hannahlei, she deserves it so much,” Jensen said in a post-finale interview in 2018. “I’m just so happy and I’m so proud of myself.”

Jensen first auditioned for SYTYCD season 14 but was cut ahead of the live shows.

“I came with drive and passion and wanting to get on the show,” she noted in 2018. “I think that was something that one-upped me. [More practice] really did help, but I thin it was more [of] maturing and that’s what I did.”

Jensen, like 31-year-old Lindsay, is a ballroom dancer. The Arnold siblings are also rounded out by DWTS pro Rylee, 19, and nurse Brynley, 24. Both Lindsay and Brynley are also parents of two.
