Although Kody Brown’s wives may have bonded over certain things, Janelle Brown and Christine Brown admitted that they would never talk about intimacy.
“You’re not comparing notes. Everybody’s relationship is very separate,” Janelle, 55, explained on Oliver Hudson and Kate Hudson’s “Sibling Revelry” podcast on Monday, February 17.
Oliver, 48, seemed shocked by Janelle’s revelation, noting that with his wife, Erinn Bartlett, he wanted to know “every dude” she had been with when they first met.

You know what I mean?” Janelle responded, noting that no one discussed their individual sex lives when the cameras were off, either. “I didn’t feel like that was my business and I didn’t feel like it would be helpful to know. So I didn’t really care.”

Christine added that her, Janelle, Meri Brown and Robyn Brown had “four separate marriages” and they would keep them “separate” as much as possible.
While they would never discuss intimacy in any capacity, Janelle revealed that they “might bitch about something Kody did.”
“There were definitely things that we would bitch out about,” Christine shared.
Janelle and Christine were both married to Kody, 56, along with Meri, 54, and Robyn, 46, before becoming the stars of TLC’s Sister Wives in 2010. Janelle, who shares six children with Kody, split from the family patriarch in 2022 after nearly two decades of marriage. Christine parted ways from Kody in 2021 and are still coparents to the duo’s six kids. She moved on with David Woolley and the couple tied the knot in 2023.
Christine and Janelle have remained close and still consider each other “family,” however, they don’t have much communication with Meri and Robyn.

“I haven’t talked to Meri or Robyn for years, and it’s funny,” Christine shared on an episode of the “Rogue Energy” podcast in January. “We’ll just keep it like that. I don’t need to develop a relationship with them.”
Christine noted that while Janelle attended her and Woolley’s wedding, Meri and Robyn did not.
“A great thing about being older when you get married is that you really only have to invite the people that you really want there,” Christine explained to Janelle. “We really only invited our closest friends to our wedding. And you were one of our closest friends. I’m not friends with Kody or Meri or Robyn, and so I didn’t have to. I only had to invite who I wanted.”
