Miley Cyrus was clearly “out to have a good time” with her mother, Tish Cyrus, in celebration of Saturday Night Live’s milestone 50th anniversary.
Miley, 32, and Tish, 57, walked the red carpet together at the SNL50: The Homecoming Concert live special on Friday, February 14. Miley, for her part, stunned in a black, leather Roberto Cavalli gown with a tulle train and strappy heels from the fashion brand Paris Texas.
Tish also looked lovely in leather for the occasion, opting for a black jumpsuit. The mother-daughter duo posed for photos together on the red carpet at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall before inviting Miley’s boyfriend, Maxx Morando, to join them for photos.

“I love you, Lorne Michaels,” Miley gushed.
The pop star, who brought her mom to the 2025 Grammys earlier this month, has been in the midst of family drama after dad Billy Ray Cyrus performed at a presidential inaugural ball and subsequently sparked concern for his welfare. Miley’s brother Trace Cyrus later claimed that the 63-year-old “Achy Breaky Heart” singer wasn’t healthy.
“Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away,” Trace, 35, wrote via Instagram last month. “Noah desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life and you haven’t even been there for her. That’s your baby girl. She deserves better. Somehow just like me she still idolizes you though.”
Billy Ray adopted Trace and his sister Brandi Cyrus after he married their mother Tish in 1992. Tish and Billy Ray went on to welcome children Miley, Braison Cyrus and Noah Cyrus before they divorced in 2022. (Billy Ray also shares son Christopher Cyrus with ex Kristin Luckey.)
Braison, 30, later insisted that Billy Ray was “happy and healthy,” before the family patriarch spoke out.

“Sunday callin. Giving thanks for the California Rain,” Billy Ray captioned a January 26 social media post. “Praying for the brokenhearted and their pain. Praying for my family. For my children … sons and daughters…and their mother. Let this moment be the start of healing

.”
Neither Miley nor Tish, who married actor Dominic Purcell in 2023, have addressed the apparent drama.
