Below Deck Med‘s Aesha Scott recalled having to “finger” poop out of a shower drain for a charter guest.
During the Monday, January 27, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Aesha, 33, was asked about the grossest thing she’s done while working on a boat.
“I’m not here to judge, but the most disgusting thing I’ve done with a guest is finger their poop out of the shower plug hole,” she recalled. “That’s probably not the best experience.”
From our partners:
Aesha elaborated after host Andy Cohen seemed confused, saying, “They pooped in the shower and they didn’t want me to see it, so they stomped it into the drain hole and put the drain cover back on thinking it would just leak away.”

She continued: “But that’s not how plumbing works, and we had a flood. So I sniffed it and then I discovered it [in the shower].”
Below Deck viewers weren’t surprised by Aesha’s revelation since she’s known for her unfiltered commentary. She recently opened up on Below Deck Med about sending her bowel movements to fiancé Scott “Scotty” Dobson.
“When I do a really big one, I like to show Scott. He doesn’t like it, but I do it anyway,” she shared in a July 2024 episode. “Every time I send him a photo of my poop, he says, ‘Honey, you really don’t need to send me that.’ He could try saying thank you.”
Aesha and Scott met in high school in their native New Zealand before reconnecting a decade later. The couple took their romance public in 2020 before getting engaged after several years of dating.
“We talked about marriage very early on. But the biggest thing is I wanted it to be a surprise. I don’t want to expect it at all. I did not suspect a thing,” Aesha exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2024. “We want to do a long engagement. We want to [get married] in the New Zealand summer and not this summer but next summer. We’ve got a lot of family and friends here so we want to give everyone a chance to save up enough money to turn it into a proper holiday. You can’t go to New Zealand for four days.”

Aesha went on to share some important lessons about sustaining a long-term relationship.
“We’re just very fortunate in the sense that we are both very independent and it helps as well that we have complete trust,” she shared with Us at the time. “We’re so stable that we know with every ounce of our being that once we are finished with the thing that we’re doing, we’ll be going back to that person and it will just carry on normal.”
She concluded: “I actually love having the balance of going and doing my own thing and being completely alone and then coming back and having couple time. If I was with someone all the time, I’d go a bit crazy because I just love going off and he’s the same.”
