On Saturday night, Taylor Swift played her final show in Toronto, the last of six sold out events. During her performance, the Eras Tour star seemingly dropped a few hints about her next rerecorded album and fans seem pretty sure that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) is coming.
She addressed the audience while strumming her guitar, saying she was considering what fans might “like to hear.”
“I think about what might they like to hear and what haven’t they heard in a while,” she shared. “Wish me luck…That’s the wrong key, so wish me more luck than that.”
From our partners:
Her next songs for the night included “Ours” from Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), and “Last Great American Dynasty” from Folklore. She then played a mashup on the piano of “Cassandra” from The Tortured Poets Department with “Mad Woman” and “I Did Something Bad.”
This mashup in particular had fans speculating that her dramatic Reputation album would be next up. At the end of the mashup, she asked the audience, “Do you believe me now? They say I did something bad… When the truth comes out, it’s quiet.”
The rumors began in October, when Swift changed her snake-covered bodysuit she generally wears while performing songs from the original Reputation.
Swift has three more concerts left in Vancouver before the tour wraps up on December 8. In October, a source told Us Weekly that Swift is planning to enjoy time with boyfriend Travis Kelce during the holidays. The couple have been “spending as much time together as possible while balancing their careers and individual responsibilities—his game and her music empire, along with personal projects.”
But they are definitely “looking forward to spending the holidays together…They are both focused on their work now and just want to get through the holidays and the tour and will be figuring out their next moves after the new year.”
