Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian were spotted leaving a party in Miami on Friday in their flashy new Tesla Cybertruck.
Alexis, one of the founders of Reddit, was part of the first batch of customers to receive the newest edition of the vehicle.
On November 30, he was at a live broadcast event at the Tesla factory in Texas where Elon Musk personally led him to his new Cybertruck.
From our partners:
The latest version of Tesla’s buzzy, futuristic automobile costs $49,890 for a rear-wheel drive and $68,890 for an all-wheel drive.
During their latest outing, Alexis got behind the wheel of his eye-popping new car, while Serena slid into the front passenger seat.
They were emerging from a star-studded blowout bash thrown by the dashing billionaire Wayne Boich, who hails from a coal mining dynasty.
Wayne gave the party in the midst of Art Basel, an internationally famous art fair that has developed a reputation as flypaper for celebrities.
This year was no exception, and a cavalcade of famous faces were in town on Friday to attend the fete at Wayne and his wife Cynthia’s mansion.
Serena and Alexis joined a glittering guest list that included the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, Cindy Crawford and Dwyane Wade.
The partygoers, who included Serena’s sister Venus Williams, were able to enjoy performers from top-flight artists including Snoop Dog and Lil Wayne.
Less than two weeks earlier, Alexis was in Texas as part of the ceremony where Elon doled out the new Cybertrucks for the first time.
Wearing a bomber jacket with the words: ‘Invest In Women’s Sports’ written on the back, Alexis became the third person in the world to receive the car.
Meanwhile, Serena is settling into life as a mother of two, raising her infant daughter Adira alongside six-year-old Olympia.
Serena announced Adira’s birth in August, posting a heartwarming family TikTok that provided the first-ever public glimpse of her new baby.
She also went public with the name, a Hebrew word whose various translations include ‘noble,’ ‘powerful’ and ‘majestic.’
‘Welcome, Adira River Ohanian,’ Alexis proudly wrote on his own Instagram after Serena announced the baby’s birth on TikTok.
‘I’m grateful to report our house is teaming [sic] with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama,’ the tech mogul rhapsodized.
‘Feeling grateful. @serenawilliams you’ve now given me another incomparable gift — you’re the GMOAT. Thanks to all the amazing medical staff who took care of my wife & our daughter. I’ll never forget the moment I introduced @olympiaohanian to her baby sister,’ Alexis continued.
He closed on a biblical note, quoting the Book Of Isaiah: ‘Your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.’
Serena and Alexis tied the knot at a star-studded New Orleans ceremony in November 2017, two months after Olympia was born.
