Art Vancouver‘s annual four-day international art fair kicks off at the Vancouver Convention Centre from May 4-7 with artists and collectors flocking to its global art stage. An international contingent of exhibitors representing Ukraine, Iran, Korea, Japan, Kenya, Singapore, Georgia, Syria, India, Vietnam, Jamaica, and the U.S. will join the art showcase.

This year, Art Vancouver will host 57 new artists and galleries from across Canada and around the world as it celebrates a variety of voices from a diverse cultural breadth. This representation of artists from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas emphasizes Vancouver as a destination city for all art lovers alike.

With international eyes on the fair this year, giving Canadian and Indigenous artists a platform and voice on the international stage is a priority for Art Vancouver. Featuring 37 artists from across the country, there’s an opportunity to connect local and national artists selling their work to a global audience of collectors and galleries.

With the emergence of artificial intelligence, this year’s Art Talks has assembled a panel discussion of experts in A.I. technology on its impact on art to discuss the future of art, tech, and how artificial intelligence will instigate a shift in the paradigm.

Art Vancouver has put together a diverse and engaging program offering something for everyone. Whether attendees are artists themselves or just enthusiasts of art and creativity, there should be plenty of opportunities to learn, engage, and be inspired.
