Wendie Malick is aware fans think her Shrinking costar Harrison Ford is dreamy β and his dance skills only add to his allure.
βHeβs actually pretty good [at dancing],β Malick, 74, exclusively told Us Weekly of Ford, 82, while attending the AHA Red Dress Collection Concert on Thursday, January 30, in New York City. βI have to say he is.β
The actress noted that after teaming up for a βdance numberβ on Shrinking, she learned of his skills firsthand.
From our partners:
βWe were sort of throwing ideas out at each other and decided on [an] Albert King [song],β she recalled of the season 2, episode 1, moment.

During the episode, Albert Kingβs βBorn Under a Sunβ plays as longtime therapist, Dr. Paul Rhoades (Ford), dances with his doctor girlfriend, Julie Baram (Malick).

βHeβs yummy,β Malick called Harrison, while reflecting on the romantic scene on the AppleTV+ comedy.
Shrinking focuses on grieving therapist Jimmy Laird (Jason Segel) after he decides to tell his clients exactly what he thinks after the loss of his wife. His mentor, Paul, is along for the ride as he struggles with his own ups and downs after being diagnosed with Parkinsonβs.
Malick, meanwhile, has been playing Julie on Shrinking since season 1, episode 3, and she has never wavered in her positive opinion of Ford.
βHe is just one of the loveliest, most generous and funny leading men Iβve ever had,β she told People in October 2024, revealing that Ford has also become her go-to mixologist sommelier.
Malick noted that Ford makes her βreally wonderful tequila cocktailsβ and has introduced her to some of the best wines.
Jason Segel Gushes Over ‘Shrinking’ Costar Harrison Ford: ‘Dream Come True’
βHarrison, I think the reason heβs had such lasting power, and it doesnβt matter if heβs getting older and a little wrinklier and gray-haired and stuff, itβs the little mischievous smile that he has in everything he does,β she shared. βThat little dry sense of humor, which is so irresistible, and he doesnβt take himself too seriously. I think thereβs something so appealing about that.β
Malick exclusively told Us on Thursday that even when sheβs not filming with Ford, dancing is the one activity that sparks joy in her life.
βAnybody can do it anywhere. Do it in the privacy of your own home if youβre shy but blast the music that you love and dance,β she gushed.
