Teddy Swims is going to be a dad!
The “Lose Control” singer and his partner, fellow performer Raiche Wright, are expecting their first baby together.
The couple shared the big news in an Instagram post on Wednesday, January 8.

Alongside photos of Swims (whose birth name is Jaten Collin Dimsdale) and Wright on the beach, Wright wrote, “We can’t wait to meet you baby.”
Over the last year, after making their relationship known to the public, the singers have been seen on stage performing together quite a bit, Billboard reports.
While talking about Wright in a July interview with The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Swims opened up about dating someone also in the music industry.

“She does what I do, which is great. Because it’s, like, maybe 3 a.m., and I’m calling her and she’s like, ‘Yeah, yeah, I’m in a session. I’m recording vocals.’ And I’m like, ‘Girl, yeah, handle your business, baby.’”
On Wright’s 29th birthday, Swims praised his partner, calling her “my sweet girl.”
“My sweet girl. You are truly the divine feminine,” he wrote alongside a handful of photos of the two of them together.
“You are the most perceptive and caring person I’ve ever met. You’re so beautiful inside and out. So nurturing yet so tough. You coddle me and challenge me. I’m looking forward to loving you forever and ever and I’m so thankful and lucky to call you mine.”

“I love you. Happy birthday angel,” he continued, adding her 29th year “is going to bring you everything you desire, need, and so much more! I’m so happy to be by your side and support you through it all.”
In May 2024, Wright shared a video of her and Swims sharing the stage.
Fans gushed over how Swims looked at Wright.
“Omg I’m SO obsessed with you two!!!! Get you a man who looks at you the way (Swims) looks at Raiche,” a comment read. “I [expletive] love you girl, and I love watching your happiness and success. Literally fills my heart with so much joy.”
