A love story told in reverse?

A teaser poster featuring a burning photograph of Young-eun with the phrase “our love is in progress” has led fans to believe that the show will discuss how break-ups are not a goodbye, but just another part of the process of loving someone.

Soompi revealed that, unlike other Korean dramas that follow the process of falling in love, making memories and breaking up, this show will discuss relationships in the reverse order: first focusing on a break-up, then moving backwards toward the early days of a relationship.

The show has a star-studded cast and crew

Apart from the two main leads, the show also has a star-studded cast and crew. Choi Hee-seo, who was a main lead in “Mistress”, plays the extravagant but lonely Hwang Chi-sook, while Kim Joo-hun of “Start Up” will appear as Seok Do-hoon, the CEO of a PR company.

Exo’s Oh Se-hun, also known by his stage name Sehun, will make an appearance as Hwang Chi-hyung, the son of the fashion company’s CEO. This will be the idol’s first full-time role in a K-drama, and many fans are looking forward the K-pop star’s role in the show.

Behind the show is director Lee Gil-bok, who has worked on many hit mega-series such as “My Love From the Star”, “Vagabond”, and “Dr Romantic”. Alongside him is screenwriter Je-in, who was behind the suspense romance “Misty”.

It’s Jang Ki-yong’s last drama before his military enlistment

Jang plays the lead role of the photographer in the series. While the drama will launch in November, filming wrapped up early to make way for Jang’s mandatory military service in August. Even the press conference for the drama was reportedly pre-recorded in advance so that the star could be present, according to Soompi.
